Ep 111: Redonkulousity

Rick Reilly makes the move to ESPN - Could the Brothers in 3-Z be next? Probably not. We wouldn't ask for much... a couple 20 oz. sodas... some pizzas... sold! This week the Brothers Z discuss:

- Torre - Does he want to prove how good he is? How about taking over the Pirates? Turn that team around and you will convince the world you're good.

- Spot - In a game that depends so much on inches, planes and measurements, shouldn't there be a way to make spotting the ball exact?

- Miles - Les goes for the win. Smart? Who knows? It always depends on the outcome and not on the decision itself.

- Kickoff - Adam doesn't like backing up the kickoff. He likes touchbacks and the starting at the 20.

- The Move - Adam is the 2nd Brother Z to move to HD. He talks about his impending purchase and gets advice from Ryan, while Trent seethes.

- Life of Reilly - Rick Reilly is jumping to ESPN. Will he be better, the same, or become a shadow of his former self, like others at that network?

Draft - NFL shortens the draft. We suggested this a while ago. They listened... or that's the story we're going with.

Ep 110: Stuped

It's been a productive week. We even created a new word... "stuped." We think it means "stupidly duped." It'[s our word, but feel free to use it to impress your friends at parties. This week the Brothers Z discuss:

Notre Dame - As the Big East looks to expand (if they look to expand), what do you do with Notre Dame who is in the BE for everything but football?

Nebraska - It's now confirmed what we've been saying all along - the Cornhuskers suck. Just remember, you heard it here first.

Sloppy Sox - MLB needs to clean up the look of the players. Right?

Bye Week - WVU, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers all off... what's a man to do? SUCK IT UP AND WATCH CRAPPY GAMES!

Salesman - Don't answer the front door if you don't know who it is. New policy as of riiiight now.

Ep 109: Propensity for Collapse

Ahh fall - the Holy Grail of sports...wait. That's not right. Not "Holy Grail." Um... Horn of Plenty? Bounty? Bottomless pit? We'll just say that there's a lot going on. This week, the Brothers Z discuss:

- NCAA Football - All these upsets and excitement can lead to a BC Vs. UCONN National Title game or something... no one wants that. Be careful what you wish for.

- Baseball on TBS/TNT - How's the coverage? Do you like it? Do you think it's good? Do you want to maaaaarry it?

- Or Else! - Stenbrenner threatens Torre's job. This is not that same guy who fired Billy Martin 22 times on a whim, is it?

- Steelers - Tomlin's got it working in Steel town right now. How does he do it? And how do the Rooney's find these guys?

- Back it Up - The back up QB's need to step up and step in... let it begin...

- Court of Public Opinion (on steroids)!

Ep 108: Did You Say Boner?

Big week of upsets in the NCAA, and in the NFL too. Baseball is about to kickoff... wait, football kicks off and baseball does what? Pitches...off? Anyway - baseball playoffs are about to start. This week the Brothers Z discuss -

WVU loses...ugly - USF takes care of WVU and it wasn't pretty on either side. Small rants from WVU fans.

NCAA Outlook - WVU wasn't the only team upset - how does this shift effect the remainder of the teams?

1AA - While 1A vies and postures to try to get popularity votes and style points, 1AA is going to expand their (shhh) playoffs.

Ben vs Ken - In the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Ron Cook blasts Roethlisberger for not loving Wiesenhunt after the Steelers-Cardinals game. Why must everyone get along?

Browns - We would like to apologize to the Browns for what we said after Week 1 - apparently you are good.

Metss - Well, it took all season but the Mets finally played their way out of the playoffs in the nick of time.

AL PLayoffs - We like the underdogs... but understand the Yankees will probably win.

Hope Solo - Another athlete shoots off at the mouth, but - this one doesn't seem to get ass much heat.
